Minimum technological requirements for HomeTown Health Online Courses: 

  • Minimum browser requirements: Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5+/FireFox 1+ (Windows 98+) or Netscape 7.2+/FireFox 1+ (MacOS X and Linux) will allow you to take full advantage of the range of features of the site.

  • If you are using an earlier version, download the most current version from the manufacturer's web site. 

  • Internet Explorer recommended for Windows users. Firefox recommended for MacOS X and Linux users.

  • Speakers or headphones are required to listen to voiced courses.

  • Mouse is required to navigate through self-paced courses and complete quizzes, evaluations and other activities.

  • Printer is optional but will be needed to print handouts, completion certificates, completion forms, etc.

  • To view videos/recorded webinars the following programs must be installed: Internet Explorer 7 or above or Mozilla Firefox 3 and above or Google Chrome Adobe Flash Player Plugin Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or above or Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2007 or above Sound Card Headphones or Speakers
